Today has been amazing!
I woke up in a halfway decent mood (mainly because no one banged on, or yelled at me through, the door, and I even had time to myself while mom took dad to work, and went around doing errands. The house was quiet, calm, and even the dogs were well behaved.
Mom got home, and we took time to take the big dogs out before we started emptying the fridge and freezer to defrost it, and my neighbor helped out by letting us store things in her deep freeze ^__^.
After everything was call cleaned out and cleaned up, we got the house done, and even though my mom had to take my older brother (the drug addict) to Walmart, and had to listen to him whine, she came home with my dad in a good mood.
I have to say, that getting up, and making good on my promise to post to YouTube everyday is wonderful. I finally feel like things are working out the way they should. I'm not going to get over confident, especially since I know that things can only go right for so long before the bad has to happen, I'm going to run with it, and carry the good times with me so I have something saved up for a rainy day.
I'm taking time out for myself as well. When I don't feel well, I'm listening to what my body can and can't do and resting, speaking out, and taking in fluids even if my body doesn't want it. I have a full bottle of pedialyte in the fridge for just such an occasion.
Right now, I'm working on the next installment of Creepy & Haunted Places for YouTube. I'm going to be featuring:
5) Black Star Canyon- Orange County, California
4) Leamaneh Castle- County Clare, Ireland
3) Westminster Burying Ground- Baltimore, Maryland
2) Island of Poveglia- Poveglia, Italy
1) Abbey of Thelema- Celafu, Italy
I also have plans for the next installment, but only 3 locations: Shiloh Battlefield in Tennessee, Castello Orsini-Odescalchi in Italy, and Hoia Baciu Forest in Romania. I saw a picture of it along with a short story, and it looked interesting.
I can't wait to get back to college so I can feel this accomplished. And even if I have to have a tutor, it doesn't mean I'm not smart. It just means I need more practice. And if I fail at it, I fail. It happens in life. I just have to stop being so hard on myself. I don't have to excel at everything. I'll just keep trying until I get it right.
So, while I'm working on Creepy & Haunted Places, I'm going to watch my favorite TV show, Emergency. I love John Gage. He's handsome ^__^
